The focus of this Lesson Plan is to introduce and understand the concept of environmental destruction and sustainable development by using the ideas found in 'The Lorax', written by Dr. Seuss.

The Lorax - Earth Day Activity - Humans and the Environment Lesson
This lesson is an excellent way to teach students about how humans impact the environment. It can also be used as an Earth Day or week long exploration.
