I have struggled with math stations all year! I AM so excited to find this resource. You have included everything I need and MORE to build a successful math station classroom! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thanks for the resource! I was wondering if you are willing to sell an editable version of your manipulatives labels? I love them but need some other words.

Ashleigh,
I got an email notice stating that you had answered my previous question, but I can't seem to find your answer. To update you, I was able to see the informational document and print it. Which one should I read first? I'm a 5th grade math teacher here in Geaorgia. I really want to learn how to teach math to smaller groups. Currently, I teach whole group. I have taught that way since I began teaching 12 years ago. I want to be able to move those on who get the lesson rather quickly and focus more individual attention to those who are have a difficult time comprehending the material. This seems like the perfect way for me to address this. You seem very knowledgeable in this area. Any advice?
I would definitely start with Part 1 of The math Workshop Guide. The First Days of Math Workshop are what I would teach when I was really ready to get started with my students. I will help out in any way that I can, so please, please email me if you have any questions. I will try my best to address any of your specific concerns:)

I purchased this along with your "First Days of Math Workshop". Do they compliment eachother? I was able to open First Days great, but not sure about this one. I really don't see any informational pieces. Not saying that is not ok. I'm just trying to relate the two. Can you explain them for me?
Yes, First days of Math Workshop is what I use for my procedural mini lessons the first ten days of implementing math workshop. The Math Workshop Guide is more of a how to file. It is in a zipped file, so I'm wondering if everything is opening correctly for you. I may need to send you an email with separate attachments. Let me know!

I just purchased your Math Workshop Guide. I unzipped the files, but they are corrupted and won't open.....
If you email me, I'll send each file to you individually.

Love this resource, but I had a quick question. How could I update the work station board? I noticed there is only enough room for 20 students. However, I need enough room for 28 students. Any ideas? Thanks so much!
Let me work on it for you. I have a much larger class this year and need the extra spots too. If you send me your email I"ll send you what I make. ashleigh_60@hotmail.com
I've been teaching for 8 years and think I have the best job in the world! I've taught 3rd and 4th grades and love developing curriculum and activities for my students.
