Hello! There are 12 project challenges to go with the book in this file. I use them as a way to differentiate and have the kids choose the ones they want to complete as they read the book! It is not a unit, only a set of project challenges! :)

I have taught for 16 years in a large, urban, public school district (I have taught in three different schools) and I LOVE it! I taught self-contained, multi-age gifted class for past seven years. Prior to this assignment, I taught regular ed 4th and 5th grades. I am now in an at-risk school teaching 5th grade! I am so lucky to have such great students, past and present!
