This is a narrative writing project where students create a story about finding a mysterious door in their bedroom. The students respond to the prompt on a graphic organizer, create their story, then do an art project of the door and a scene from their stories. This is a great way to end your narrative writing unit. It is also a fun and simple activity to leave on a day when you have a substitue.
