This packet contains 5 different activities that require students to help the Nounfields and McVerbs stop feuding by constructing sentences with correct subject/verb agreement. Activities:
1) Sentence Sorting - students must read sentence cards with missing verbs and sort them into the correct verb pocket.
2) Cut-and-Paste Activity - students must cut out verb boxes at the bottom of the page and glue them into the correct sentence.
3) Board Game - students draw a sentence card and decide which verb goes in the blank. (Answer Key provided)
4) Crossword Puzzle - the clues are sentences with the verb missing
5) Sentence Writing Activity - students must use a set of given verbs to write sentences with correct subject/verb agreement.
Designed for visual/kinesthetic learners, these activity will work well for literacy centers and small group instruction.

I have 11 years of experience as an educational psychologist. I specialize in developing materials for visual-spatial learners, including children with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. I make sure my materials have fonts and images that are easy to read and interpret, layouts that are not visually cluttered, and formatting that helps kids understand what they are supposed to do. I also make sure my products have written instructions that are as simply worded as possible to aid independence.
