A fun song with weird (some say gross)sounds that kids love because they are allowed to experiment with mouth, nose and whistle sounds that let them be kids. This song is very old and has made the rounds of various folk and entertainment style singers. It can be taught at any grade level and is hard to sing and keep a straight face.

I have taught general music to Kindergarten through graduate music courses at 2 Florida universities.Florida State and Florida Atlantic Universities. I taught at FAU for 34 years. I am past president of the FEMEA (Florida Elementary Music Educators Association) and served on the FEMEA Board for over 6 years. I wrote the Alma Mater for Florida Atlantic University and published 3 albums of childrens songs in 1975-78. They are being used by Florida music teachers even today. I am currently retired enjoying the outdoor sports of my adopted home state of Colorado.
