I have to say I was disappointed and felt a little cheated. The seller says it is a two hour (!) presentation. But it only took about 10 minutes to get through it. Some character names were misspelled or wrong. Images are distorted and text is hard to read.
I found a much better version of this product from another seller here on TPT.

Most of the pictures are distorted--i.e., they haven't been re-sized proportionately, so the appearance is "stretched out"--they just need to be sized correctly. There are a few spelling and grammatical errors, and the title of the book should be either italicized (preferred) or underlined. The content is good--covers the basics I want when introducing the novel.

Absolutely amazing and worth every penny! Thanks for sharing your hard work with other educators. This would provide an excellent exemplar to show students of a PowerPoint "book report" to cover all of the elments of a story. This would be a great project for students to complete at the end of an "independant" novel study, ie: they have selected their own choice of novel during Reader's Workshop.

I found this PowerPoint extremely useful. I divided it up into several different mini lessons such as on the characters and authors. Some cool images as well for your kids.

I tried to download the preview, but the formatting was messed up. I have ms office 97 on my home computer, so I am wondering if this powerpoint was created in a newer version. I have Office 2003 at school. Should I have any problems downloading it using Office 2003? Thank you for your help.

I almost always use Microsoft PowerPoint 2003, so I don't see you would have any problems on your school computer. Hope this helps.
