A take home book by Pam Erickson that teaches basic sight word and positional word recognition. Meets common core standards for ELA and Math. Makes a great pocket chart activity for whole group lessons or a literacy center. You can add a plastic/paper owl for a fun math center. Goes great with a unit on nocturnal animals. Be sure to check out my non-fiction book, Owls Can! To print the book back to back- the cover/page six is backed with the blank page/page five. Page two/three is backed with page four/one. To assemble- place the cover page face down (page five is up). Place page two/three face up on top of the cover page. Fold in half and staple along the spine. Enjoy!
