This package contains a variety of pumpkin
activities just in time for Halloween or Thanksgiving. Activities can be used over a span of a few days, or as one fun-filled pumpkin day. Activities span the subjects of science (buoyancy), math (circumference, scatterplot graphs, word problems, equivalent fractions), language arts (figurative language), and visual art.
You will need to have one pumpkin per group of students (or, if each student is able to bring in one pumpkin, do these as individual activities). You will also need to have knives for cutting open the pumpkins, access to a large sink for the science activity, string, paint, glue, plenty of newspaper,
and garbage bags.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
