This 7 page poetry study package includes the text of the poem, a two page study sheet, and a key for the study sheet. The study sheet provides students with a brief biography of Edgar Allan Poe. It then asks students to identify poetic devices in the poem, summarize the main ideas, explain the mood and the speaker of the poem, and make connections between the poem and Poe's life.
