In this activity students will sort between activities that represent one of the habits, and activities that do not. Students will decide whether or not the person in the situation/scenario is practicing one of the 7 Habits. This is a great group work (synergizing!) activity for the beginning of the school year when students need a refresher, or to learn, their habits!
The seventh habit is not included in this packet since discussing which activities represent relaxing did not really seem very challenging to me ;)

Hi!! First, thanks so much for your nice words! Yes, the document is password protected due to the terms of use with the clip art I used on the unit. You can save this by dragging the folder of the file to the location on your computer where you want it to be saved. For example, it is probably in your downloads file right now (on a Mac, that is in your finder; on a PC, that can be found in "my computer"). Find it in your downloads file and drag it elsewhere, like your desktop...and there it will be saved! ;) enjoy!!

As it states in the description, there is no page for the seventh habit because I felt that it would be silly for a group to sort "relaxing activities" in this type of activity. My class, instead, discussed ways to sharpen the saw after we completed this sorting activity.

I have taught for two years, and cannot wait to enter my third year this Fall! In my first year, I taught all subjects to a fifth-grade self contained classroom in Alabama. I moved to Charleston, SC and was lucky enough to get a job right away teaching my favorite subjects, fifth-grade Math and Science! We have turned into a three-way switch now at my school, so I will be teaching fifth-grade math next year. Our school has achieved partial-magnet and our focus is Leadership. I cannot wait to start living these Seven Habits in my life, as well as teaching my students to live it in theirs.
