This simple money game by The Learning Curve is designed to be played with a whole class or a group.
Students practise tendering amounts to match the value shown on the tickets.
** Now with blank cards as well so you can make your own amounts. **
The game involves movement and music to add to the fun.
The slides are designed to be printed and laminated and the tags cut out. Students can attach these to "goods" or just imagine the goods and use the tags alone.
The different colour coded tags allow the game to be modified to suit different levels of challenge.
The game can also be varied by allowing the customers to tender more than the exact amount and the shopkeepers give change.
The game could be used to practise transaction language skills also, or used in a foreign language class.

Hi! I think this game is a great idea--and thanks for making it a freebie! Since I live in the U.S., I was trying to figure out how to add a cent sign where you have a "c". Can you tell me how to do that?

I love the Shopkeeper Game that you posted. Have you considered adding pages of blank tags so teachers can create their own amounts? I would love to be able to create more tags that match the game.
