What a well designed unit. I'm anxious to use this next week as we read the story The Olympic Games. The story is full of facts but kind of bland. You have added so many neat ideas to my curriculum. Thanks!
The activities are fantastic but the 1972 summer olympics with the dachshund mascot were in Munich, Germany not Sydney, Australia. Apart from that it is an excellent pack!
Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I think I got messed up somewhere with cutting and pasting. I definitely will fix that mistake. Also, thank you for your positive comments.

Love it! (Would be even better if it could be edited in Word but realize there'd be a problem with fonts, etc. . . .)

I am very excited to begin the year with this Olympic Unit. We start earlier than normal this year, so we will be in school during much of the Olympics. I think this packet is a great tool to introduce students to the Olympics. Thank you!
Wow! This unit has been so helpful as we study the Olympics this last week of school. Each activity is age appropriate and the students have shown a lot of enthusiasm as they work through the activities. They especially liked the mascot time line and the medal graphing. Thank you so much!
Wow right back to you! Your feedback made me feel wonderful! Thank you for making my day.

I really like the writing activities in this package. I have a bunch of them printed ready to go for my lessons next week. I like the information/timeline on the Olympic mascots and the Olympic Motto activity in particular. Well made. Great package.

Hi Alison, just letting you know that the 1972 summer Olympics and the dachshund mascot were in Munich, Germany and not Sydney Australia. The pack is fantastic though.
Cheers,
