Vocabulary Tests for Edgar Allan Poe's short story "The Tell Tale Heart" are composed of:
1. definitions: students write term and part of speech
2. sentences: students fill in blank with correct form of term
3. analogies: students fill in blank with correct form of term
4. composing sentences: students compose sentences containing context clues using the assigned number of terms in test

Can be used as a formative or summative assessment
Students must be able to understand the terms in order to apply them in sentences and analogies. They cannot just memorize the terms.
