It doesn't look as if my products fit neatly into any of those categories. Also, they are all based on novels and nonfiction book titles, so I imagine they have too narrow a focus for your purpose. Thanks for your interest, though.

I didn't realize that. What activities are you interested in? While all my products have a lot of educational value, they are, for the most part, word puzzles.

I am in need of 20 printable activities in the area of high school English. I have objectives for each one, and they should be about 1-3 pages each. These activities will be used as part of an online test prep resource for schools, so I will need to have a release which will allow my company to use them in this way. I can pay $10 per activity. Please contact me for more information. ==Larry Coty

First, can I say I LOVE your products. I am a gifted teacher and they are the first product to fully engage my children. They are just wonderful. I wondered if you can make some materials for the book Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach. It is a newer book that has caught a great deal of interest and I obtained a class set of books but can't find very good material to accompany it.

Leaird(c) re: Animal Farm: Portals to Literature skills book
I am interested in purchasing Portals to Literature: Animal Farm & Hatchet. However, the price of shipping is too high for me to go through with the purchase. Is it possible to combine the two books in one shipment and ship them using the USPS media mail rate? You may contact me privately at leaird@yahoo.com. Thanks for your time.

Thank you, Pegi, for creating The Pinballs activities. My students and I will certainly enjoy them. I can actually use the things you created and extend them into my existing games. You are the best!

I purchased the bookmarks for Hatchet. They look like they will be good for my students. You may want to revise the "theme" section on the final 4 bookmarks so they are like the first. (c)

Lesia English(c) re: Summer of the Monkeys: Anagram Crossword--Fun and Challenging!
Pegi,
Before I buy Summer of the Monkeys, the extra stuff that's listed for the novel, is it duplicated in the Themeworks or the Fun With Great Works? I just didn't want to buy duplicates of activities. Please advise. Lesia

Fun with Great Works includes 40 pages (approx.) of word puzzles for $7.50, or you can buy them separately for $1-2.50 apiece/per group. ThemeQuotes is a classroom game based on the book. The 12 theme-related quotations that I list separately are actually the quotations used in the ThemeQuotes game. Let me know if that doesn't answer your question.

Hi!
I'm looking at your novel products (Bridge to Terabithia and Summer of the Monkeys) and know I will enjoy using them in my 7th grade classroom. In the future would you consider the book by Betsy Byars, The Pinballs?
Thanks for your hard work! Your products are fabulous! Lesia English

Absolutely! Thanks for the suggestion--and thanks for the compliments! I have always been a "word nerd," so I combined that passion with my knowledge of educational products (I've been a freelance writer and editor for Scholastic, Highsmith, etc. for years) and teaching (I taught h.s. language arts)and came up with, what I think, are really fun ways to approach literature. I'll get a copy of Pinballs and try to get some products out on it by fall. Check back!

Thanks for answering. That does help me. I am going through the book slowly with 8th graders, so I wanted to make certain that I could use the game repeatedly.

I can probably only do this if Paul can't locate the problem. I will contact him again to see what's going on and will get back to you yet this weekend. I will also let him know that we are discussing sending the file via email. If it were up to me, I'd just send it to you, but I'm afraid I'd be breaking TPT rules.

I purchased this and did not get this. Instead, I was given bookmarks. Can you please look into this?
Fun with Great Works is a series of reproducible booklets based on classroom novels and nonfiction books. Each edition contains up to 40 pages of word puzzles! All answers are related to the book! 21 EDITIONS IN ALL!
The activities are clever and unique, not your typical word puzzles.

Paul, who manages the site, is looking into it. It's a glitch in the site's setup. I uploaded the correct file twice, and the file was replaced both time with the bookmarks file. I will be happy to send you a hard copy or send you an electronic copy via email if Paul can't fix this. When do you need it?

Eowyn1977(c) re: To Kill a Mockingbird Trivia Game
I have a question about this before purchasing. I want to know how many quotes are included in the game and if the quotes/questions are linked to certain sections which would enable me to play it several times as we go through the novel. The Mark Twain quote in the sample document clearly matches with Scout's experience during her first few years of school. Do the other quotes then cover the other themes as they are developed? Thanks!!

Reply by: Pegi Bevins (s)
There are 16 ThemeQuotes, as stated in the product description. Each applies as well to other themes of the book as the Mark Twain one applies to Scout's schooling. The questions are in chronological order, so you can use them a few at a time, as you move through the book. The quotations are not in any particular order. Does that help?

I just purchased and downloaded the Fun with Greatworks: The Sign of the Beaver. Instead of games, it was bookmarks. Could you double check to see if that is correct. Thank you so much...I can't wait to use Fun with Great Works.

I just purchased and downloaded Word Games for Number the Stars. It automatically downloaded to Wordpad, and I didn't get page numbers. Was I supposed to get crosswords for "The Novel" through "World War II Trivia"?I got the questions, but no puzzles in which to put them. I also did not get the clues for several of the criss cross puzzles, nor the answer key. Can you help? I even tried downloading 2x to make sure my download didn't mess up. This looks like great fun to use with our novel study!
