Grab their attention! This highly-researched Power Point presentation uses sound clips from the Hollywood movie and TONS of information about the Titanic to introduce the book A Night To Remember. This covers the early 1900's, the background of The Titanic, and information on its crew and passengers. Your students will love it!
Nicely done. Very informative. I used it to introduce A NIGHT TO REMEMBER by Walter Lord. It was great for the kids to put faces to the names. We went back to the slideshow for a reference several times.

My 7th graders loved this power point. I used it as an intro to our novel study "A Night to Remember" by Walter Lord. It was a great way to get the kids interested. The music and graphics are fantastic. The content is very thorough.
I cannot rate this and am very disappointed I cannot open it on my Mac. Could you please make it available in a different format so I can give you the rating Im sure you deserve.
Used this for 4th grade and the students loved it added more pictures for the students to see the comparison between the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd classes along with a map of the voyage for students to see the route of the Titanic. Also added pictures of the Engelhardt boats and the casualty figures for student to complete percentage acitvity. Great bones and starting point for the lesson on this book. Thank you:) Only downfall was that I could not use the sound bits but other than that great.

Very informative! Really prepared my students to read the book. They start the book having the facts down and ready to get on the ship! Loved the sound!!!! Great!!!
