“The Top 10 Things about Me” is a fun way for you and your class to learn more about each other and have a finished product that everyone can be successful with.
This file includes:
• Smart Notebook version of file with directions, rough draft template, and final copy template (I like to be able to model what I want students to do, so having the actual document scanned into Smart Notebook makes it easy!)
• PowerPoint version which includes everything listed above
• Word docs of rough draft and final copy…fully editable in case you want to change something

Hello, I want to start by letting you know that your SB activities are excellent and colorful. Do you have an attendance checkin in a safari theme? If not will you be will to create one?

Thank-you so much for your kind feedback! If I had the safari graphics, I might create an attendance file, but I don't have any. I mainly get my graphics from Thistlegirl Designs, where I am a member, and have a reseller's license. She has a safari set, but it is not part of the member graphics. Scrappin' Doodles has adorable graphics, but they do not allow them to be used commercially in SMARTBoard files. So, for now I don't have plans to create a safari-themed attendance file, but who knows in the future...

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This will be my 15th year teaching, but I began 33 years ago. I left the profession for 18 years to raise my children and did a variety of part-time jobs. This is my 7th year back, and I'm still on the learning curve! I currently teach 4th grade, which I think is the perfect grade for me. I love to integrate technology into my classroom with my SMARTBoard, and this year, I will be exploring best uses for iPads, as I received a grant to have 6 in my classroom. I'm hoping that curiosity keeps my brain cells young!
