My students love the short story "The Veldt" by Ray Bradbury.
This file includes questions to be answered as the students read the story. Some guidance by the teacher is necessary but it is pretty straightforward.
Also included is an assignment related to the short story. Students must create a 3-fold brochure (using word processor template or on their own) advertising the automated home. it requires students to pull details from the story and lets them get creative.
