The purpose of this project is to listen to excerpts from The Voyage of the Beagle by Charles Darwin and create a portfolio of writings and drawings to express your thoughts on the subject, as well as what you have learned in (reference to the study of change over time). It meets reading and writing in the content area standards, as well as addressing the history of science. You could also have students read the book, rather than listen to the audio version if it is preferred.
