Theme is one of the most difficulty concepts for readers to fully grasp. In PART I of my 2 part series on theme, students will take comprehensive notes on theme and complete an activity. I feel this is a great way to introduce OR reinforce teachings about theme. Please fix the following typos in your presentation: slide 5 deepers?? meaning slide 7 --In (an?) effective piece of writing the theme will be revealed to the characters and the readers
- comma needed after "writing" slide 11 In effective writing the truth will be revealed to both the characters in the story and to the reader as well- - comma needed after "writing" slide 12-Subject and Theme are Commonly Mistaken- capitals not needed for commonly mistaken
