These two sequencing activities can be used after reading the book "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed A Bat". This is a great book for the fall! Students need to recall the order in which the Old Lady swallowed different objects. The first activity is done in small groups. Students each receive a card and must get in the order from the story. The second activity is independent. They must cut out, glue the objects in order, and then number them.
