"Think- Pair - Share" is a great strategy for differentiating learning and keeping students on task, resulting in more effective student learning. This strategy is also a very effective classroom management tool --it keeps students involved and provides opportunities for teachers to check for understanding. Think-Pair-Share has many benefits to student learning--builds in wait-time; provides rehearsal for responses; enhances depth and breadth of thinking; increases level of participation; keeps students on-task; provides processing time called for in 10:2 Theory.
