Be a Common Core Superhero! Use this color coded checklist to document when you have taught to the third grade Common Core Standards.
Keep it with your lesson plans (or data notebook) so that you can write down when you have taught to the standard, or if you would rather, mark when you have assessed.
Also included is a cover page for you to write your name and year and cover pages for both Language Arts and Math.
(This is not a file where you can type or customize, but a file where you will print out the checklist.)
UPDATED: 7/27-added a second set with a different "plainer" font and duplicate sets with GIRL super heroes!

Very cool, but a lot of paperwork for kids to keep track of and follow along with. I'm not sure if I'll have all of the kids keep this checklist or if I'll just keep a master list and have the kids take turns checking off which standards we meet.
I'm glad that this will help you! Kid friendly standards would definitely be nice! (I will eventually creat little posters for my room-first grade-but could make others after that gets finished)

Hi, Would you consider selling just the language arts part of the third grade common core checklist? I am departmentalized and only teach language arts - just wanted to check :)
Thank you for sharing your great products!
Whenever you have time would be great!! I appreciate it!!
I can certainly do that. It will take me just a little to get it separated. I will try to do it by Sunday, if that is okay?

I purchased this checklist at the beginning of the year (and love it, thank you). I have lost my flash drive and laptop died!!! I have a new one and would like to download this again. Do I have to purchase again or is there a way to just download it again?
Thanks,
Michelle
Yes! Go to your "my purchases" tab at the top of the TPT page--I believe it's near your search button/space. Once you click there, you should be able to see all of your purchases and you can download from there again. It will be there forever! :) It's one of the best things I've found about TPT. I actually don't keep the files I buy on here anymore on my computer. I know I can go back and download them when I need them---and it frees space up on my computer for other stuff! :)
PS-so sorry to hear about your computer! I've been hearing that a lot lately... :(

The downloads say they are free, but it says "add to cart" instead of download. When you go to checkout it's a minimum $3 purchase so it will not let me download them. Is there a way to fix this?
This sounds like it's an adobe problem. Make sure you have the most current version of adobe. You can also try to redownload. If you are still having problems, contact TPT as they are great at solving technological problems like this!!! =)
Angela,
I really like the Common Core checklist. Two questions....Are these for Pa and is there anything that will go with the Hisory and Science component?
They are not specific for PA. I know for K-2 Math, PA standards are waaaayyy more vague and weak than the Common Core. Since we had already rewritten our curriculum last year to the Common Core, we (1st) decided to still have the same as last year-because there is nothing new in PA (we also decided to still use the National CC coding for math in lessons... but who knows-that could change). I'm not as familiar with the PA LA ones yet. Last year I just looked at the Common Core and picked standards to teach. I didn't go through and look at PA to see what might be new or if it is just as vague/weak like math.
Right now I do not have anything for Science/Soc. Studies. If/when there's a Common Core for that, I will revise the current files to add it and will notify everyone who purchased. =)
I'll see what I can come up with! It might be a few weeks--got a vacation coming up, and not much time to myself with my little ones. Thanks for your sweet comments!! :)
I have been teaching since 2001. The first 2 years I spent teaching full day kindergarten. Since then I have been teaching wonderful little 6-7 year olds in first grade!
