This pack includes everything you need to post the Common Core Standards in your 3rd grade classroom! As your teaching objectives change, simply switch the Standards on the display! The packet includes five different themes to choose from- Rainbow, Polka Dots, Grass/Outdoors, Pencils, and Zebra. Subjects include Reading, Writing, Language, Speaking & Listening, and Math.
To make the standards accessible for students, you'll receive both the "I can..." and "We can..." statements using active verbs and developmentally appropriate language. Each objective is clearly labeled and typed large enough so that this will become a staple in your classroom! Students and visitors alike will easily see what learning objectives are being covered each day.
To use, 1) Pick the desired background theme and either the "I can..." or "We can..." standards. 2) Print them on the paper or cardstock of your choice and laminate if desired. 3) Hang on a bulletin board, in pocket charts, on ribbon, outside your classroom door or another inventive spot. 4) Watch how aware your students become of the learning that takes place!
Display posters are also included for Science and Social Studies. I have included the Mississippi State Science and Social Studies objective displays. When the National Common Core Standards are released for Science and Social Studies, you'll receive those files as well at no additional cost.
My item preview will give you a good idea of just how much you receive with this purchase- you'll be free to change your class theme without needing to purchase another Common Core display set!
I've uploaded a new .zip file that includes a Language poster. Hope this helps!

I went through the common core and checked each statement and in every case the wording was much more Kid friendly without me having to spend the time doing it. Thanks for your contribution.

Unless TpT is running a generic sale (I'm not aware that they ever do), none of my products currently have any type of promo code associated with them. Sorry!

Hi! I purchased your common core standards posters and I love them! I found out on Friday that my district is now requiring teachers to post class goals and they are coming Monday morning!! I am going to use several of the subject posters in this kit but would like to have a "title" to match. Is there any way for you to change the poster that says "Common Core Standards" to "Our Class Goals" in the cheveron pattern? I would really appreciate it!! My email is tegangraham3@gmail.com.
I just sent the document you requested. If something else needs to be edited, please let me know! Thanks, Ashley

I purchased your common core standards posters, but when I download it comes to a word document that says it cannot be opened because there are problems with the content - some parts are missing or invalid. I did download the zip file you provided. Any suggestions?
I'm so sorry you've experienced that! I don't know what the problem is. If you send me your email address, I'd be happy to send you the files individually to see if that works any better. My email address is arhewitt10@gmail.com. I look forward to getting this straightened out!

I just purchased your common core standard package $10.00 on teachers pay teachers and got blank standards pages which are read-only. Any attempt to save them was denied. Please email me blank standards I can save and type the Georgia Social Studies gps standards this year until we convert to common core. Could you also share the font sand size to help me. Love and buy your products. Thanks,Beth

I'm sorry to hear that! I'll try to see what's happened, but will email you the document in the meantime. The font name is "My Own Topher" from www.kevinandamanda.com, and most of the standards are typed in size 18. I hope this helps!

Please send me what you have on science and social studies as Georgia will be using common core in those areas 2013-14 and since I am purchasing your set I would like them to match. Also, could you send a blank one so I can add this year's science and social studies. email - eboyette@crawford.k12.ga.us Love your oproducts. Thanks, Beth
I've downloaded a new .zip file which includes Mississippi's State Standards for Science and Social Studies as well as a .doc template for teachers to use with their own state's standards. Until the NGA releases Common Core Standards for these two subjects, that's all I have. When they do release them, I'll download those files which you'll be able to get for no additional fee. I hope this helps a bit!

Hi, I purchased this product and it seems that the language poster is missing. Language standards are made but not poster to post them on?
To the best of my knowledge, the National Science and Social Studies standards are still in development. I've looked online for them to no avail. Do you have different info?
Ashley,
The cover page and themes look great for your third grade common core standards posters, however I cannot see any examples of what the standards actually look like. Is there a way that I can preview an example or two?
