Table of Contents:
1.Creative Writing: Students will write and draw what they think the moral or the lesson of the story is.
2.Craftivity: Craftivity using 2-D shapes to make a pig. Students can use the pig to write about their favorite part of the story.
3.Sweet, Sweet, Home: Students read the group of words. If the group of words is a complete sentence, cut and paste it on the house.
4.On Their Way: Students will write geographic names and product names correctly.
5.Story Elements: Students can use this graphic organizer to tell who, what, when, where, why, and how about the story.
6.Huffing and Puffing: Students will write sentences about the story and begin them with a capital letter and end with punctuation.
7.Dear Mama Pig: The pigs have written Mama Pig a letter. Students will find the names of holidays in the letter and write them correctly.
8.All About the Wolf and the Pigs: A graphic organizer for students to use for writing adjectives that describe the wolf and the pigs.
9.Wanted: A wanted poster for students to tell about the appearance of the wolf and tell about his crime.
10.Pig Concentration Game: A game where students must match words that rhyme.
11.House Design: Students can design what house they would build and list the materials they would need.
The items in this product can be used as Reading Stations, small groups, independently, or as a needs based lesson. It covers several Common Core Standards for 2nd Grade. The worksheets can be copied or can be laminated or put in protective covers and used with wipe off markers to be used year after year.
