Three Ring Circus is a hands-on start to multiplication. Children choose a card and model the given fact using counting bears from the circus to create groups in each of the 3 circus rings. By counting the bears in the rings, children begin to understand the concept of multiplication. An easy to follow directions card, a reproducible work mat illustration of a 3-Ring Circus, multiplication fact cards and Circus Bear manipulatives are included.

Terry Palmieri specializes in the development and implementation of standard-based educational math and literacy activities for students in K - 2nd grade.
