This 14 slide powerpoint contains everything you will need to teach the short story, "Three Skeleton Key", by George Toudouze. It includes an author study, vocabulary lists with definitions and pictures for each word, and two sentence completion activities. Created by Beverly Brown, it also includes an explanation of suspense, a prediction activity, questions for after reading, a story web activity, and two projects for after reading. As an added bonus, it includes two links to other websites. The first is a radio play with Vincent Price reading a radio version of Three Skeleton Key. The second link is a short video on the recent (9-09) discovery of the world's largest rat in New Guinea.
This was great to use with the story in our literature book. Beverly Brown is one of my favorites; everything I've purchased from her has been very useful in my 7th grade classes. Thanks so much!
