This project is perfect to use as a culminating assessment after a trade book or novel is read. There are nine different activities the students can choose from. There are activities for every kind of learner. The project was made for the students to choose three activities in a row; across or diagonal, hence the name "Tic Tac Toe". But as the teacher you may make up the directions to fit your class. In my experience with this project the students didn't like to be restricted to choosing activities in a row.
