About Seller

Are you looking for a creative new way to have your students practice multiplication? Try Tiling! In Tiling activities, students will use the provided "digit tiles" to place the numbers 0 - 9 to fill in the holes left in provided multiplication equations. While trying to figure out where the missing numbers go, students will work on basic facts, properties of multiplication and problem solving skills.

This packet includes 10 different Tiling Worksheets, each with it's own answer key. This packet provides tiling problems for multiplying basic facts.

Also try tiling problems for basic division facts, multiplying 2 digit by 1 digit and 3 and 4 digit by 1 digit and long division.

I downloaded the sample version and I love it! I have 6th grade students who are having difficulty with multiplication so this is a great tool to have them self-check!

I really was happy with the tiling pages. I copied and laminated the pages for a math center. Students really liked using them. There were 2 pages with 11 missing digits instead of 10 Pg. f and one other.

I currently teach a mixed age class of 3rd and 4th graders at the International School of Morocco. Previously, I have taught 1st grade and 3rd grade, as well as teaching all grade levels in the computer lab at a Title I school in Georgia. I have taught both high income and low-income school students, and find that no matter where I teach, most kids need to look at every problem from 12 different angles. Although it is challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.
