This is a comprehensive plot studies analysis packet that I use with To Kill A Mockingbird. It is a user-friendly tool for any teacher as they they walk their students through the elements of story. Each of the 5 stages of plot are clearly defined, giving the students tangible objectives to meet as they engage in analysis. The packet then walks the students, step-by-step, through analysis of characterization, setting, theme, and symbolism. Each page is formatted as a graphic organizer. The symbolism analysis page is formatted as a flow chart rendering a rather difficult analysis accessible and inteligible.
5 of the graphic organizers are not story-specific so they can be printed and used for any text.
