SELLER
This is a 76 slide PP with cited facts and pictures about the Depression, the Dust Bowl, Post Civil War, Jim Crow Era, and Civil Rights Era information. Excellent as a pre-reading source to give students the necessary background before reading the novel To Kill a Mockingbird. It has a lot of visuals, with information regarding each, so it is appropriate for review, regular, honors, and GT levels. I also have music from the time period that goes with the PP- please message me if you would like it as well. I believe it is all public domain.

Just a remarkable presentation with moving pictures. Thank you so much for sharing. BTW, I use PPTX 10, and sound pics appear over pictures, and do not work. Thought you'd want to know how it works in other versions.

Hmmmm... that's disappointing. I am also using PPTX 10, so I'm not certain why it is showing up that way- the sound symbols are there even when the slide show is full screen? The music is keyed to work when the presentation folder (including the music) is saved on the desktop. Since music links work from where the file is saved, the desktop seemed like the safest bet so everyone would be able to use. Thank you for the feedback- I'll check it out! :-)

Love all the work you put into the PP and I especially love that you referenced all of the photos you included. (It's such an important lesson for kids to see that you're giving credit for the images you have used.) I wish I had an English class this term to use it with - it's great!

Master teachers from local school systems and specialists from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) will deliver the program, which will include: -Content based on the English CLGs -Application of pedagogical techniques appropriate for instruction -Analysis of the student work that can be used during instruction to prepare students for the English HSA -Research-based strategies for differentiating instruction -Coaching models (MSDE) *Certification in TEFL
