If you want a resource that will truly help you teach the novel, look no further. This novel has been my favorite for the past 25 years. I've read it over 100 times and have been teaching it for the past 12 years. Each year I add more to my extensive notes.
This resource goes through each chapter and points out important sections to discuss with your students. Not only that, I gathered some of the greatest resources on the web (for vocabulary, historical references, allusions, pop culture connections, etc.) and combined them with my notes and discussion points.
This also includes the learning standards covered, a sample time frame for teaching the unit, and suggested activities you can use for each chapter.
If you purchased my TKaM unit or CD, you do NOT need to purchase this - it is included in both.
This is especially helpful for new teachers or teachers who are using this novel for the first time in their classroom. It can also serve as an inspiration if you want to invigorate your current unit.

Very well done. This is my favorite novel if all times, and anything new and exciting Can add to my wealth of knowledge. I could easily spend a year on this novel!!!

I've been teaching at my current public high school for twelve years, and have a total of 16 years experience.
