My students love playing this game! Super cute toads are in love! Use this for Valentine's Day or any day!
Three levels of play make this an easy game to differentiate:
*Students can read numerals, count up to nine, and read number words.
*Students can practice addition and subtraction facts 0-5
*Students can practice addition and subtraction facts 6-10
To keep the game exciting, the students will spin a spinner to determine if they move towards the toadstool or the toads in love.
I have included an "I Can..." for more student independence.
I am not understanding exactly how to play. I'll ask my partners tomorrow to see if they can understand it (it could be i'm too tired to think clearly:) )
Ha! If you get stuck... you can email me. It is actually pretty simple. They pull a card and read it (or solve the equation). Then they spin the spinner to see if they move that many spaces (whatever the card said) towards the mushrooms (the beginning) or the toads (the end).
Ask Deedee Wills a question. They will receive an automated email and will return to answer you as soon as possible.
