Cool off with this fun game for kiddos to explore adding three addends! Students will turn 3 cards over and add the numbers together. The partner with the highest sum gets all of the cards. When the cards run out, the student with the most cards wins!
*You could differentiate this game by having your students turn 2 cards over {adding 2 numbers together}.
*This activity was created with the following Math Common Core Standard in mind:
1.OA 6 Add and subtract within 20 {creating equivalent but easier or known sums}
