Great activity for study of weather and tornadoes.Students plot real world tornado data on a provided map of the U.S. after making a color key. The map is then analyzed and students must use critical thinking skills and knowledge to explain where Tornado Alley is and why some areas of the U.S. are more prone to tornadoes than others. Students must use mapping skills, analysis and critical thinking skills. Great activity that works well in the classroom and students enjoy doing.
