This unit is an excellent source for the book Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Mikaelson. There are comprehension questions for each chapter in handout form. There are also several projects with handouts for students and corresponding rubrics, including: Individual Totem Poles, a writing project, Group Totem Pole project, Circle Justice Poster Project, among others. I have used this my students who have emotional and behavioral disorders. It is an excellent way for students to relate to issues they are having and see how they could better themselves.
