Teach your students how transportation and communication have changed over time using these fun sequencing cards. Just print the cards, mat onto construction paper, and laminate for extra durability. Place students in small groups and have them try to sequence the earliest form of transportation/communication to the latest form of transportation/communication. This activity gets a lot of great discussion started! There are also two writing prompts included for students to write about what they've learned about changes in transporation/communication.

Pretty basic..I feel like I could have made this myself if I had all of the time in the world. But I do feel like it will be a great hands-on activity once the unit is done. And I love having my students use their words to describe anything, so I love that there is a spot for writing!
