I love the variety of questions. The timeline is great and the essay question is great. What I find lacking is that there's no answer key for the test. Fortunately, I have read the book; however, I structure my classroom with Book Clubs....sometimes the students choose titles I've not read yet or read some time ago. There REALLY should be an answer key.

I would have loved an answer key, too... there were some answers that could have gone both ways!! Overall, very well put together!!

I currently hold New York State certification in English 7-12. For the past 6 years I have been teaching 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts in central New York. Prior to my current position I was located in western New York and taught 11th and 12th grade English. I have also taught language arts and theatre in the UK. In addition to teaching I am the Junior High Drama Director, Sophomore Class Advisor, and Varsity Cheerleading Coach.
