Great extensions and a new twist with the pardoning. I'm using it to have my kindergartners create their first real character, with likes, dislikes, hobbies and more! Thanks!

This is a great unit! I started with watching a YouTube video of President Obama pardoning a turkey in 2010, and the students had so much fun coming up with names for turkeys in groups! I ordered the books for the other activities from Scholastic, and the students continue to ask me when they're going to learn more about turkeys. Thanks for posting this awesome unit! It was perfect for the week before Thanksgiving :)
