About Seller

Newly updated! Students create their own timeline booklets for United States History. This product is meant to be an anchor for your social studies instruction all year. Students include a picture/symbol and summary for each event. You can use the timelines as an introduction to a unit or as a culminating product each time you wrap up a unit. This would also be a great social studies center. (Create a list of events you want students to research and have them work through the list and add to their timeline at that center.)

You have 5 versions of coverpages and the choice of landscape and portrait versions of the timeline. The timeline currently ranges from the years of 1612-2020. Please let me know if you would like me to include earlier years.

(I personally am using the landscape version next year so that students can use a binder for their timelines).

I am in my 8th year of teaching. Most of my teaching experience has been in 5th grade, but I taught 4th grade for two years and looped with those classes. I have a masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading and received National Boards Certification in Middle Childhood. Being an elementary teacher, I teach all subject areas and think about ways to engage children in content through collaboration and discussion.
