This 9 page US Map Challenge Project can be used as an independent challenge project for GATE students or as a whole class project. Students will choose a destination to travel to in the US, will calculate the distance to this location using a map, will research famous sites at the location, will calculate the time the road trip would take, will calculate the distance home, and much more!! This activity enforces map, research, and math skills.
