The Road to the Revolution Bulletin Board set is a creative way to make a timeline of the events of the Revolutionary War. The set contains stop signs of important events, poles, flags and a horse drawn carriage. To create the stop signs cut out the stop signs and poles, and glue the poles onto the back of the stop signs. Create a road out of paper, and add the stops signs to the road in order. The carriage is a great way to track progress in learning about the Revolutionary War. Students can look at the carriage and know what event they will be learning about that day. The flags are to be used to identify who won each battle. Cut out the flags and tape them onto the battle stop signs to represent which side won the battle. Laminate all of the pieces for use year after year. The events included in the set are as follows:

1773 Tea Act
1773 Boston Tea Party
1774 Intolerable Acts
1775 Battle of Lexington And Concord
1775 Battle of Bunker Hill
