Here are 24 task cards to get students interacting with the map of the United States. The tasks include names of states, capital cities, and bodies of water. I encourage the students to work with partners for these tasks, as their conversations will help them remember the names of the places they find on the map. A map of the United States is needed for children to complete the tasks. (online maps are fine!)
