Hello! I have reorganized the First Grade Fountas and Pinnell lessons to go along with the manuals suggested lessons by month. I left my original lesson numbers so they are ordered inside each month's folder for you.

No need to create all the charts or cut out all the manipulatives! I have created smartboard lessons for the whole year!
Each daily lesson follows the teacher's guide exactly.
A lesson is designed to be a short 5 or 10 minute review of skills or directions to a new game.
I use this along with my Open Court Phonics Program and have sequenced to follow along accordingly.
This set includes
11 Phonological Awareness Lessons
9 Letter Knowledge Lessons
21 Letter/Sound Relationship lessons
10 Spelling pattern lessons
8 High Frequency Word lessons
3 Word Meaning lessons
9 Word Structure lessons
14 Word-Solving Actions
Games and Printables are included with many lessons. Lessons are sequenced according to the usual sequence of skill introduction.
P.S. Remember this is a zipped file so you have to "unzip it" or extract the files when prompted:)
If you like my lessons please give me a good rating.
This is a wonderful series of extended interactive, smartboard lessons! My students enjoy the simple consistency of design and format. I appreciate being able to systematically teach decoding structures that will support my students' reading progress! Thank you from me and my adorable, little readers!
I love how you have created these smartboard lessons and I can't wait to use these with my summer school students.

Thanks for saving me a ton of time by preparing these F and P phonics lessons for the SmartBaord. Your lessons are so easy to use, and I like the way you've linked the supplemental resources as PDF files.
Love this!!! I was sooo happy to find someone else who also uses this Fountas and Pinnell's program. However, when I purchased it to use in my classroom with my Interwrite board, I did not realize that I wouldn't be able to use the Smartboard software b/c I don't have a license to use the Smart technology. So, after my 30 trial, I can no longer use this or even open it :( Do you have it available in any other format? Thank you.

I am purchasing your lesson pack to use in my class the remainder of the year. If I like how they work and bring them to the rest of my grade level, is it possible to contact you to buy more licenses? I will be converting them to flipcharts for the promethean board, so I would just share my conversions if we like it, but would need to get more licenses, does that make sense? Please let me know.
I'm not sure I understand your question...I just checked the zip file and all the smartboards are there. Let me know if this is not what you were referring to.

Okay . . . last question : )
Are the same lessons in kindergarten and first grade? if I buy both packs will I have 149 lessons?
Thanks.
The lessons are differrent...I based them exactly on the teachers guide for each grade level. There may be one or two lessons that review the same skill, but overall it is different. I use the kindergarten lessons alot during the first weeks of first grade:)

We do not have SmartBoard technology in our classrooms however we have a computer, Elmo and iPads. Could we use these lessons and project them from our computer? Do we need special software? Thanks!
You can download the smart board software onto your computer for free. It won't be interactive without the board however. (you can always manipulate it with the computer mouse I guess.) Or you could use them in a small group using an iPad that has the software downloaded.
Send me your email address and I will send you a lesson for you to experiment with before you decide to buy all the lessons.
Hmmmm what exactly is happening when you try to open them? You should be able to unzip the folder and extract all the files. Give me your email and I will send them to you again if that doesn't work:)

This looks great! However, I am the reading specialist at my school. I work out of a small room and do not have a Promethean Board. Would this activities work on a computer or Ipad- that we could use in small groups?
As far as I know you can download the smartboard software for free on your computers (I have it on my home computer) you would just have to teach the lesson with the kids around a smaller screen...I am not sure about an ipad but the software will probably download there too.
We use Harcourt first grade and I already have lessons for them but I'm very curious in these. Would it confuse the children? Do you have any other smartboard lessons you reccomend? We just got our smartboard last week so I want some fun lessons.
Here is a site that has all the first grade harcourt stuff http://www.primarygradesclasspage.com/first%20grade%20harcourt.htm
The Fountas and Pinnell lessons are very basic (almost a kindergarten review) of phonics and letter knowledge. I don't think they will get confused....I use this in addition to my Harcourt comprehension, vocabulary, and spelling. Enjoy your new smartboard:)
Hello Michelle,
I think I will love your Fountas and Pinnell lessons for first grade on the Smartboard. However, it's difficult to preview them because they are zipped. Would you please send me a sample of a smartboard page for LS short or long u vowel? Or anything else that you think will help me confirm my purchase. Thanks!
