Your students will create Flip Booklets that will allow them to distinguish the ending sound of common words. Each mini-booklet is on a single piece of paper for ease of use! The students color in the delightful pictures, cut them out and place them together to create a booklet in which the first word in the sentence is "flipped" up to create a new sentence each time.

For example, for the "R" book the students read "Tambor termina con la r." They then flip up the picture of the drum to reveal a picture of a flower. They then read "Flor termina con la r." This continues with Tenedor, Collar and Dolar to give them five words in all that end with the same letter. There are booklets for the following ending sounds: a, e, i, o, u, d, l, n, r, s, y.

This book also includes a reproducible chart which allows the teacher to keep track of the students as they progress through the mini-books, allowing them to work at their own level and speed.
