This presentation introduces students to multiple meaning words. First, we explore what the word multiple means. Then, students look at how to think about multiple meaning words. Students match definitions to the way that words are used in sentences, explore how context helps a reader to figure out which meaning is used, and think about how some meanings are related. Easy enough for intermediate readers, but also suitable for older English language learners and struggling readers.
