This is an excellent group activity to start off the year teaching United States History! Students work in groups to create a small poster of an important U.S. History event, including a description, date, and pictures. Each student is given a team role: writer, designer, artist, presenter, or timekeeper. There are 10 events attached (you could add/change events to your liking.) This also make for a great decoration in your classroom and you can check off events as students learn them throughout the year!
