Get your U.S. History students to reflect upon and write about what they are learning! Use this U.S. History Yearlong Book Project (10 pages here) to encourage students to write about 5 main units: Exploration/Colonization, American Revolution, U.S. Constitution, Westward Expansion, and the Civil War. Students not only summarize what they have learn using guided writing, but illustrate in picture form what they write about. These can be stapled together to form a book of what they learned that year as well as a great review resource for the SS CST exam!
