United States Regions Power Point by Erica
Introduce the regions of the United States through this colorful power point. The power point begins with the United States and U.S. facts. It moves on to define regions and asks the students to brainstorm things that may define a region. Next, a compass rose is introduced and later applied throughout the rest of the slides. Then each region is introduced using a U.S. map with the specific region shaded in. The regions are introduced in the following order: Northeast, Midwest, Southeast, Southwest and West. Printing the map on slide 9 would be a great tool for the kids to follow along with at their seats. This map would be great for the students to shade in each of the regions as they are introduced.
