This is pair of activities designed around fraction, decimal and percent conversion. The first activity contains 3 charts in which the student is given all fractions, all decimals or all percents and must convert into the other 2. There is also a section where they explain the process. The second activity involves a real life situation where someone is buying a set of items on sale. The students must figure out the discounted prices, the subtotal and then the total after a given tax. Both activities can be used as a review or possible assessment.

Help
I have been teaching 7th and 8th graders mathematics in a public school setting since 1999. I also take part teaching incoming 8th graders in a "math institute" each summer.
